The relevant Government resolution “On approval of the main terms for lending to regional budgets for microcrediting in rural settlements and small towns for 2022” was signed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Alikhan Smailov.
The resolution was adopted as part of efforts to increase the incomes of residents of rural areas and small towns by creating conditions for the development of entrepreneurial initiative and ensuring employment of the economically active population.
Budget funds in the amount of 40 billion tenge have been allocated for its implementation, which will be directed toward microcrediting projects in the agro-industrial complex sector.
JSC “Agrarian Credit Corporation” will act as the lending operator. Control over the targeted use and timely repayment of budget loans to the republican budget has been assigned to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
