The Association of Legal Entities "Association of Microfinance Organizations of Kazakhstan" (hereinafter AMFOK) is a non-profit organization whose activities are aimed at strengthening and promoting the interests of its members and the microfinance sector of Kazakhstan as a whole.

AMFOK was founded in February 2004. on the initiative of the leading microfinance organizations of Kazakhstan. AMFOK is the only industry union that unites organizations interested in the development of microfinance in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Currently, the Association has established partnerships with a number of foreign participants in the financial market.

Mission - Development of the microfinance sector for sustainable access of the population to financial services in order to reduce poverty and maintain economic growth.

Goals:

• Development of the microfinance sector as part of the financial system of the Republic
• Strengthening the capacity, efficiency and productivity of AMFOK members
• Improving legislation in the field of microfinance in order to create a sustainable microfinance system in the Republic

AMFOK is accredited by the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken", and is also a Member of:

• Microfinance Center for Central and Eastern Europe and CIS countries, Poland;
• ALE "Association of Financiers of Kazakhstan";
• ALE "Association of Taxpayers of Kazakhstan".
