On May 15, 2025, DEBEX LLP (platform https://debex.kz) officially received authorization to operate as an electronic trading platform (ETP) operator for the sale of banking and microfinance assets.
This status was granted in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 19, 2024 No. 97-VIII “On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts on Minimizing Risks in Lending, Protecting Borrowers’ Rights, Improving Financial Market Regulation and Enforcement Proceedings.” The law requires that banking and microfinance assets be sold exclusively through specialized ETPs.
