On October 10, 2025, the traditional BIKESH 2025 award ceremony, organized by the microfinance organization “Arnur Credit,” took place in Shymkent. The event became one of the key milestones of the BIKESH program aimed at supporting women entrepreneurs.
Launched in 2019, the “Syrlasu” seminar series has so far reached more than 750 women from urban and rural areas, providing them with the knowledge and skills necessary for successful business management. Implemented with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, this initiative represents an important step toward strengthening the economic potential of women.
The «Bikesh» program combines financial and non-financial services, with a particular focus on women working in agriculture.
The microfinance organization “Arnur Credit,” with more than 20 years of history, continues to contribute to improving the quality of life of the economically active population in Southern Kazakhstan.
The ceremony was held in a formal setting. The most active participant of the program was awarded a certificate worth 500,000 tenge. Representatives of the EBRD, the “Koldau-Bereke” Fund, and the Chairperson of the Shymkent Business Women’s Council took part in the event.
