SM-INVEST is a new-generation microfinance organization providing loans to entrepreneurs and individuals, with the possibility of subsequent interest rate reductions. Its product line includes long-term loans for entrepreneurs to develop their business, replenish working capital, purchase and upgrade fixed assets, and for investment purposes; and short-term working capital loans to repay accounts payable to suppliers (trade credit), secured by vehicles and inventory. Individuals can obtain loans secured by real estate for consumer purposes, such as buying furniture or a car, medical treatment, children’s education, celebrations, etc.
