About the Company

In 2003, the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Microcredit Organizations” was adopted. In March 2004, SATOR Microcredit Organization LLP was established in the North Kazakhstan Region to support the development of microfinance.

The main purpose of establishing the organization was to promote individual entrepreneurship, small and medium-sized businesses, and to expand financial opportunities for citizens with limited access to traditional financial services. SATOR became one of the first organizations operating in the microcredit market of Kazakhstan.

On June 18, 2015, the company was re-registered due to a change in its name from SATOR Microcredit Organization LLP to SATOR Microfinance Organization LLP. On August 4, 2015, the company completed official registration with the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan and was included in the register of microfinance organizations.

Throughout its activities, the organization has actively participated in programs aimed at supporting the development of entrepreneurship and small and medium-sized businesses, providing microloans to individuals and legal entities.

A highly qualified team of specialists with experience in the banking and financial sector, including internationally certified professionals, enabled the company to develop and implement new microcredit programs.

Having established the reputation of a dynamically developing microfinance organization, SATOR MFO holds a leading position in the North Kazakhstan Region and aims to become one of the leading microfinance organizations in Kazakhstan. The company actively cooperates with international and Kazakh microfinance institutions, non-governmental organizations, and entrepreneurship support funds, and participates in international and national conferences and forums on microfinance.
